We have spent the past two years attempting to get pregnant, but have been unsuccessful. We saw a fertility specialist who reviewed all of our medical tests and was unable to find anything wrong in order to treat us. He diagnosed us with unexplained infertility, which to me meant nothing is wrong. It could be there is something wrong, they just don’t have the test to determine what it is. We tried doing two IUI procedures and got pregnant with the first one, but I miscarried at 6 weeks. After the second one failed, we were uninterested in pursuing more medical procedures. We could have done a couple more IUIs and then IVF, but we felt strongly that we could be parents another way.
